Description
A Starter Motor is an electric motor needed to turn over the car engine to start. A car Starter Motor needs very high current to crank the engine, which is the very reason why it is connected to the battery with large cables. Working Principle
The starting system is consists of a starter solenoid and a Starter Motor. When you turn the ignition key to the start position, the battery voltage goes through the Starter Motor control circuit and activates the starter solenoid, which in turn uplifts the Starter Motor. The Starter Motor cranks the engine.
